A degree in Theology, Religious Studies or Philosophy, or a degree containing significant elements of these subjects, or a degree in Health/Social Care. Applicants should be working in post as a chaplain or have arranged a chaplaincy placement for the duration of the programme. If applicants are not in paid employment, evidence of a minimum of 50 hours in a voluntary or past paid chaplaincy role in healthcare is required. Significant relevant experience will sometimes be accepted in lieu of academic qualifications.
